About the Opportunity :

As an ICI Interiors Superintendent, you will take charge of on-site operations for high-profile commercial, retail, and institutional projects across the GTA. This is more than just a leadership role—it's an opportunity to work with a team that prioritizes quality, efficiency, and above all, safety. You'll be leading site teams, coordinating with project managers and subcontractors, and ensuring that all work is completed on schedule and to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and supervise all on-site activities for interior construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
  • Work closely with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to meet project timelines and objectives.
  • Actively promote and uphold safety procedures, ensuring all team members follow proper protocols.
  • Provide strong leadership, fostering a culture of accountability and teamwork.
  • Address challenges promptly and implement effective solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Maintain quality control by conducting regular site inspections and meetings.
  • Keep accurate daily reports and records related to project progress and safety compliance.

What You Bring :

  • 10+ years of experience in ICI interior construction, with at least 5 years as a superintendent.
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is an asset.
  • A strong background in interior construction, including tenant improvements and fit-outs.
  • Proven expertise in managing mid-scale interior construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage site teams effectively.
  • A safety-first mindset, with experience implementing and enforcing job site safety procedures.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • A valid driver’s license and flexibility to travel to various project sites as needed.
