Site Superintendent - ICI

Location: Ontario
Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, with additional performance-based bonuses and benefits
Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead institutional, commercial, and industrial (ICI) construction projects, including community centers, libraries, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of managing projects from groundbreaking to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all on-site operations, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with blueprints, specifications, and safety standards.
  • Conduct site meetings and provide regular updates to Project Managers and stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to prevent delays or cost overruns.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety and quality assurance throughout all phases of the project.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in ICI construction, with proven expertise in managing projects valued between $10M and $80M.
  • In-depth knowledge of Ontario Building Code, safety regulations, and construction best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple moving parts efficiently.
  • Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project.
  • Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
