For more than 30 years Cresco has built award-winning homes and communities across Halifax. They are now seeking an experienced, growth-oriented commercial high-rise Site Superintendent to grow their business in commercial development.

Cresco is searching for an exceptional individual to supervise multi-unit commercial construction projects in the bustling city of Halifax, Nova Scotia. As the Site Superintendent, you'll hold a critical position, ensuring that projects meet deadlines, financial goals, and uphold superior quality standards. We're seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Superintendent to take charge of construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient project completion aligned with Cresco standards. Your role involves overseeing day-to-day site management, from maintaining meticulous project documentation to leading on-site activities, including security, logistics, and work methods. You'll drive safety leadership by implementing Cresco's Safety Program, fostering a culture of safety, and ensuring compliance with HS&E standards and regulations. Collaborating closely with the project team, you'll maintain and drive construction schedules to meet milestones and completion dates while proactively addressing any design or schedule challenges that may arise. Your expertise in developing and maintaining effective relationships with site staff and subcontractors will promote positive morale and ensure sufficient manpower to achieve safety, schedule, and quality objectives. To thrive in this role, you'll need a minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, including a proven track record of multi-use projects that have been completed and delivered on schedule with exceptional quality under your management. Your knowledge of construction materials, methods, and codes will be invaluable. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are a must, as is the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple jobs simultaneously. Familiarity with project management software tools, such as PROCORE, is desirable.
