An established industry player seeks a dedicated Site Superintendent to lead construction projects across various challenging locations. This role emphasizes effective site management, safety standards, and proactive problem-solving, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will be responsible for coordinating trades, managing inspections, and fostering team collaboration. With a commitment to community involvement and employee well-being, this company offers a supportive environment where your leadership can shine. If you're ready to elevate your career and make a meaningful impact, this opportunity is for you.
As our newest Site Superintendent, you'll ensure that each of your projects is executed with precision and excellence. Reporting to the General Superintendent, you’ll be the one coordinating trades and materials, driving the schedule, completing site documentation, and communicating effectively with Project Managers/Coordinators, Consultants, Subtrades and Owners.
You’ll travel for work to locations throughout BC, the Yukon and occasionally the Northwest Territories. Our teams typically work 21/7 rotations, travel in and out of various locations, work 10-hour shifts on average, and enjoy the comforts of home in well-maintained crew houses.
Your day-to-day includes walking the site, inspecting the progress, checking for any quality or safety issues, and making sure everything is running according to the schedule. You’ll hold a meeting with your team and trade partners to ensure alignment on goals for the day and follow up on any potential issues from the previous day. You’ll close out your day by reviewing the schedule, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed, and making sure any necessary inspections or safety concerns are addressed.
