Job summary

A leading industrial condominium developer in Ontario seeks a dedicated Site Supervisor to oversee construction projects from start to finish. You will ensure projects meet high standards of quality and safety, while managing schedules and on-site activities. Ideal candidates have at least 10 years of experience in commercial construction, exceptional project management skills, and the ability to interpret various construction plans.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience as a site supervisor.
• Knowledge of commercial construction trades and specifications.
• Valid G Class License and access to a personal vehicle.

This role encompasses responsibilities from pre-construction through to project completion. Key duties include overseeing planning, contract administration, scheduling, on-site supervision, and comprehensive reporting. The ideal candidate will ensure that all projects meet high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, while adhering to budget and timelines. If you have a strong background in commercial construction and a keen eye for detail, we invite you to apply.Job Responsibilities : Schedule and supervise trades dailyAbility to read and interpret various division drawings (architectural, mechanical, electrical, structural)Manage sub trades on site to ensure project schedule is maintainedAssist in preparation of high-level project scheduleLog daily report documenting construction progress, site conditions, inspections, issues, trade delays, etcIssue RFIs (Requests for Information) in a timely manner to relevant stakeholdersEnsure the overall health & safety of the project siteCoordinate meetings with relevant stakeholders (City officials, clients, project managers, etc) as requiredCoordinate with the landlord, property management group and / or client as required throughout the project life cycleLiaise with support teams as requiredSkills / Requirements : Minimum 10 years of proficient working experience as a site superExcellent project management skillsOutstanding analytical skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExceptional organizational and time-management skillsAttention to detail is imperativeSolid knowledge of commercial construction trades and specificationsRequires a valid G Class License as well access to a personal vehicleWell-versed with OBC (Ontario Building Code)Able to understand and interpret drawings and specificationsWell-versed with the Occupational Health & Safety ActPay$90,000.00-$140,000.00
