As Highstreet’s Site Superintendent, you will lead and manage the on-site construction team and oversee all work on site. The Site Superintendent is responsible for schedule and budget execution, orderliness on site and compliance with safety regulations. You will ensure quality and cleanliness standards are met, scheduling is on track, roadblocks are removed for our trade partners and all equipment and materials are readily available on site. You will liaise with inspection authorities regarding approvals.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Manage construction team, sub trades, and suppliers by providing guidance and leadership
2. Develop and execute project work plans and manage project budget
3. Oversee schedule workflow and manage roadblock removal
4. Manage overall project budget and schedule workflow
5. Accountable for overall quality of the project
6. Accountable for overall site cleanliness and safety
7. Accountable for project handover

Required experience:

1. 5-9 years in site supervision role on multi-family residential or commercial job site.
2. In-depth knowledge of building trades, superior communication and motivational skills and an ability to monitor and drive project progress.
3. Knowledge and experience with project management principles.
4. Knowledge and training related to Lean Construction Methodology is an asset.
5. Competent in using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Teams and Excel is required.
6. Bluebeam experience is an asset.
7. Be able to read and interpret plans, specs, and regulations.
