Our client, a leading Canadian General Contractor in the ICI construction industry, has a rich history of successful projects across the nation. Role Overview:

Site Superintendent - Salary: $120,000.00-$140,000.00 per year

Reporting to the General Superintendent, the Site Superintendent will lead all daily field activities on the construction site, ensuring timely and budget-compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities:

Here's What You'll Be Accountable For:

1. Strategize, plan, organize, oversee, and manage construction projects from initiation to completion.
2. Supervise day-to-day field activities and manage the construction site.
3. Ensure on-site safety programs and compliance with regulations.
4. Set up and maintain the site for a professional appearance.
5. Mobilize the site and coordinate necessary facilities and services.
6. Ensure site security and compliance with permit requirements.
7. Collaborate with other sites for resource sharing.
8. Arrange for inspections and testing of various building elements.
9. Manage site filing.
10. Conduct safety and coordination meetings and prepare/distribute meeting minutes.
11. Manage and maintain project costs within budget.
12. Prepare and submit job reports.
13. Prepare and file written records of all verbal communication and site occurrences.
14. Manage the clean-up of the site and ensure that costs are allocated to the responsible parties, staying within budget.
15. Responsible for site and community public relations.
16. Responsible for all temporary protection during the construction process, satisfying occupancy requirements, correction of all deficiencies, and updating all as-built drawings on-site on a regular basis.

Qualification Requirements:

1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the ICI construction industry.
2. Experience in innovative construction methods is an asset.
3. In-depth understanding and implementation of health and safety regulations.
4. Familiarity with construction site environments in all seasons.
5. Gold Seal Certified is an asset.
6. LEED Accredited is an asset.
7. Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Project.
8. Knowledge of Suretrak, Primavera P3 or P6, Procore, BIM Software, or E-Builder Project Management Software is an asset.
9. Exposure to the construction worksite environment in all seasons.
