Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI, SAP Information eligible, consent for Counterintelligence polygraph

Duties and Responsibilities

The AF SAP Security Support Services (SSS) assist the AF security authority in oversight of security objectives supporting AF SAP interests through active security operations, processes, and management. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing security plans and documentation, including CVR, CSP, FFC, and TEMPEST documentation.
  • Conducting security inspections and ensuring compliance throughout project lifecycle.
  • Documenting violations and coordinating with the AO for mitigation.
  • Ensuring security of construction sites and materials, and compliance with security policies.
  • Providing security oversight and continuous assessment of procedures.
  • Ensuring timely communication of security matters.
  • Attending planning and review meetings to provide security input.
  • Maintaining documentation and evaluating security measures for SCIFs and SAP facilities.
  • Briefing personnel on security topics and providing professional briefings and correspondence.
  • Developing accreditation documentation and leading security team efforts.
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 3 years of related experience, or 7 years of experience without a degree.
  • Experience with SPeD certifications, with a maximum of 3 years of equivalent experience.
  • Experience in physical security, personnel management, or construction management.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to operate independently and complete safety training as required.
  • Ability to pass specific security and safety courses within specified timeframes.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk long distances.

Desired qualifications include industry-recognized Site Security Manager certification and experience with construction surveillance or blueprint reading.
