Position Title: Site Security Manager I

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Security Clearance Level: Top Secret/SCI, SAP Information eligible, consent for Counterintelligence polygraph

Duties and Responsibilities

The AF SAP Security Support Services (SSS) assists the AF security authority in oversight of security operations supporting AF SAP interests through active security processes. The Site Security Manager (SSM) is responsible for security aspects of project planning, design, construction, and ensuring regulatory compliance for facility accreditation. Responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing security documentation such as CVR, CSP, FFC, SOPs, and TEMPEST documentation.
  • Conducting security inspections and documenting violations.
  • Ensuring security of construction sites, materials, and access.
  • Mitigating security and counterintelligence threats.
  • Ensuring compliance with NISPOM, ICD, UFCs, and SAP policies.
  • Overseeing security staff and procedures.
  • Providing security briefings and technical writing.
  • Developing accreditation documentation and ensuring project security requirements are met.

Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience or 5 years of experience without a degree.
  • Experience with physical security, personnel, or construction management.
  • Certifications such as SFPC, SAPPC, SPSC, SPIPC, PSC, ISOC, ATC preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to pass required safety and security courses within specified timeframes.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and walk long distances.
