Job summary

Caliber Projects Ltd. is seeking a Site Safety Officer to lead a safe, organized, and compliant construction site. You will proactively identify risks, support workers, complete safety documentation, and ensure OH&S requirements are consistently followed.

The role reports to the Site Superintendent and supports project execution with Caliber’s core values. The position offers a competitive package including extended medical and dental, a profit‑share program, and employee incentives.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ construction experience.
• Advanced First Aid certification required.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook; knowledge of Salus and Procore is an asset.
• Organizational skills with discipline and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Understand and ensure adherence to safety policies as directed by Safety Manual and WorkSafeBC OH&S Regulations.
• Maintain training matrix and ensure all employee trainings and certifications are up to date.
• Update COR certification paperwork and file accordingly.
• Complete inspections of the worksite to ensure compliance with Caliber’s safety program.
