Job summary

Global-Technical-Talent-1 is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer for a 12-month contract in Toronto, hybrid with four days onsite. The role centers on Azure, Databricks, and big data processing for the TCMM project.

You will work independently on complex, high-impact tasks, drive automation, cloud operations, and incident resolution, with performance measured by deliverables.

Qualifications

• Azure cloud services (IaaS, IaC) experience is required.
• Databricks experience including enterprise setup and configuration.
• Automation through scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC) and Agile.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex development issues.

Job Summary

This is a newly created role supporting the TCMM project — a new initiative focused on the processing of CMM — making this contractor the first person on the team. The position calls for an individual with a strong engineering mindset and a genuine appetite for contributing within a complex and critical environment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who brings senior-level depth in Azure cloud, ASP, and Databricks, and who can work independently while managing highly complex, multifaceted assignments. Performance will be measured by deliverables.
