Job description

A focused individual capable of driving safety initiatives, enhancing customer satisfaction, site productivity, and cost-effectiveness across all site requirements. This position is responsible for the shared success of customers.

Job Requirements :

Be the customer focal point and ambassador for all our customer mine sites. Build rapport and enhance customer experiences by improving communication, site-wide efficiencies, and overseeing the implementation of modern technologies and opportunities. Collaborate proactively and systematically with internal and external stakeholders to promote product health and performance.

Lead

  • Understand internal and external customer demands; communicate progress and potential roadblocks. Lead on customer expectations and develop innovative solutions using all available resources.
  • Handle complex issues requiring careful analysis and diagnosis. Maintain calm and open-mindedness. Review and modify current processes or develop new solutions. Set priorities and establish action plans to achieve broad goals. Monitor key quality metrics such as machine availability, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, equipment management, efficiency, cost savings, and KPI achievements. Be open to revisiting and revising work methods to meet quality goals.

Relationships

  • Build and maintain high-level relationships with decision-makers and subject matter experts. Develop and manage relationship strategies across functional areas.
  • Represent the company to customers, building trust through integrity and honesty. Manage customer service site performance, identify trends, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accountability for key operational metrics as reported in the monthly branch scorecard.

Job Requirements :

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 4 years' experience in a technical role providing solutions for customers; post-secondary education in Mining, Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or related fields.
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mining or construction operations with strong knowledge of computers and heavy civil/mine technology.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Exceptional planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills; capable of delivering projects independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Project, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Must Haves :

  • Effective communication skills tailored to the right audience at the right level.
  • Strong mathematical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and build relationships across the business.

Additional Skills

  • On-site mine operations experience is a strong asset.
  • Consulting and mine planning experience are assets.
