Hydrofarm is a leading distributor and manufacturer of hydroponics equipment and supplies for controlled environment agriculture, including high intensity grow lights, climate control solutions, and growing media, as well as a broad portfolio of innovative and proprietary branded products.
Hydrofarm has an operation in Canada through Aurora Peat Products, which produces professional grade Canadian Sphagnum peat moss products that enhance crop productivity and overall growing media quality for a wide range of industries and uses such as: soil mixes for the horticulture market, soil conditioners, mushroom casing material, general vegetable gardening, cannabis, and reforestation seedlings. We are currently looking for a SITE MANAGER for our BOGS for harvesting Peat Moss. The site is located between 1.5 to 2.5 hours drive away from Edmonton City. The hamlets within the closest vicinity of these sites are Caslan, Newbrook, Thorhild, Lac La Biche, Boyle, Long Lake and the towns of Athabasca, Smoky Water and Redwater. As we have more than one opening for this position, the actual site the incumbent will be assigned to will be determined at the time of offer.
The start date of this position will be between February to April based on the length of the interview process.
