Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures.
Ensure all project stages are conducted responsibly and safely, without unreasonable risks.
Lead on-site field activities for contractors and union employees related to IT and OT infrastructure and systems, including delivery, installation, commissioning, and transition to operations.
Coordinate with on- and off-site resources to plan and schedule project activities, assisting project managers.
Act as a bridge between corporate teams (project managers, technology managers, IT/OT specialists) and on-site teams (project team, local resources, contractors).
Contribute to reporting and communication across multiple channels.
Manage and lead team members and contractors on-site, following management policies and procedures.
Collaborate with project team members to plan and acquire the necessary resources to meet project deliverables.
Facilitate meetings, workshops, and logistics for project purposes.
Identify, resolve, and manage issues and risks as they arise.
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in engineering or applied technology.
3+ years of field experience coordinating IT/OT technology projects in a large industrial setting.
Mining experience is a plus.
Ability to review engineering documents such as building layouts, networking diagrams, and cable schedules.
Experience with industrial automation, networking, or IT/OT projects valued between $1M and $10M.
Comfort working outdoors in winter, using two-way radios, and driving in a mine environment.
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and clarify tasks.
Strong vendor management and contractual skills.
Excellent coordination, organizational, and teamwork skills.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, at technical and managerial levels.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
