  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with local and EU standards, including BCAR.
  • Drive on-site safety and environmental standards.
  • Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, planners, and quantity surveyors to maintain project efficiency.
  • Support the Project Manager in regular status reporting, budgets, and timelines.
  • Identify and address technical or information gaps rapidly, escalating where needed.

  • €369/week tax-free subsistence (if non-local)
  • Medical insurance provided
  • 20 days annual holiday (total potential comp. package value: ~€65,000)

Well-structured 10:4 rotation schedule:

  • Work Mon–Sat (Sun off), followed by Mon–Thu; fly home Thu PM, return Mon AM
  • Fully-furnished 3-bedroom accommodation (own bedroom)
  • Genuine professional growth and long-term career prospects with a major international contractor

Essential Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years’ experience as a Site/Setting Out Engineer in groundworks or civils.
  • Experience liaising with local authorities on major energy or infrastructure projects.
  • Familiarity with setting out, surveying, temporary works coordination, and construction reporting.
  • Strong numeracy, analytic, and IT (MS Office/Project or equivalent) skills.
  • Independent, methodical work style with team spirit and initiative.
  • Ability to travel and work on site in Germany.
  • Strong communication skills, able to manage relationships with all project stakeholders.

Preferred
