Job description

Due to continued growth in our business, we are seeking a Site Engineer to join our team for projects in the Dublin area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on high-profile infrastructure developments and gain valuable experience with a leading civil engineering contractor.

As our successful candidate you will be competent in the following areas:

Responsibilities:

• Provide and maintain setting out and dimensional control to ensure accurate construction of work.
• Regularly check the setting out points, benchmarks and calibration of instruments and measuring equipment being used.
• Carryout as-built surveys and records of completed works.
• Management of Health, Safety & Environment matters of areas of direct responsibility.
• Assisting in managing systems to record the quality of work completed, testing, workmanship, and materials.
• Provide Engineering support to ensure technical problems are overcome and technical queries answered.
• Complete daily diary sheets and photographic evidence as required.
• Assist in basic planning, monitoring, and programming.
• Control and minimise waste on site.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 3+ years experience in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of site management, safety regulations, and surveying.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Technical knowledge of construction techniques and best practices.
• Full driving license required.
