Job summary

ICDS Group in Waterford is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a high-quality residential development team. You will provide setting out and technical support to ensure works align with drawings, specs and programme.

The ideal candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree, prior site experience on residential projects, strong setting-out skills and excellent communication and organisational abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Previous experience as Site Engineer on residential projects.
• Strong setting-out and technical ability.
• Good understanding of construction processes, drawings and specs.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and providing technical support throughout the construction process.
• Ensuring works are completed accurately in line with drawings, specifications and programme requirements.
• Liaising with project managers, architects, engineers, subcontractors and site teams.
• Managing quality control, inspections and technical submissions.
• Reviewing drawings, resolving technical queries and coordinating information flow.
• Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with health & safety and quality standards.
• Supporting the delivery of the project from construction through to completion.

Our client is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join their team delivering a high-quality residential development in Waterford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with a strong residential background to join an experienced project team and play a key role in the successful delivery of a major housing development.
