Brenmar Construction is seeking a dependable site coordinator to support day-to-day operations on Ottawa-area construction projects. This hands-on role combines site cleanup, subcontractor coordination, and safety responsibilities to keep projects running smoothly.

The successful candidate will communicate well in a fast-paced environment and take pride in a safe, organized job site and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Previous construction experience is required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently is important.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation are required.
• Positive attitude with a hands-on approach is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be present on site daily (approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM).
• Act as the Health & Safety Representative for the project.
• Ensure health & safety documentation and certifications are maintained.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.
• Coordinate daily site activities with the Project Manager.
• Work with subcontractors to progress work according to schedule.
• Address day-to-day site issues to keep projects moving forward.
• Monitor site housekeeping and subcontractor cleanliness.
• Assist with general site logistics and coordination as required.

This is a hands-on role that combines site cleaning/organization, subcontractor coordination, and health & safety responsibilities to help keep projects running efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Be present on site daily (approximately 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
• Act as the primary Health & Safety Representative for the project
• Ensure all required Health & Safety documentation and certifications are completed and maintained
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site
• Coordinate and communicate with the Project Manager regarding daily site activities
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure work is progressing according to schedule
• Address day-to-day site issues and help keep projects moving forward
• Monitor site housekeeping and ensure subcontractors maintain clean work areas
• Assist with general site logistics and coordination as required
