Site Coordinator - Canoe/Kayak Instructor

Abilities in Motion is a registered charity dedicated to providing paddle opportunities for people with disabilities. We are looking for a Site Coordinator/Canoe/Kayak Instructor to join our Alliston Team. This position is Hybrid with requirements to be on site (Earl Rowe Provincial Park) and will run from May to September.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide safe and adaptive canoe/kayak instruction to participants of varying abilities.
2. Ensure water safety protocols are followed during all paddle sessions.
3. Assist with equipment preparation, maintenance and storage.
4. Create an inclusive and supportive environment for participants.

Requirements:

1. Level 1-4 Basic Canoeing certification (certification training may be provided for a successful candidate)

$20.00 per hour

Expected hours:

35 per week

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
