Job summary

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a Manager, Site and Clinical Services – LTC and AL to lead a portfolio of care homes and programs in Western Canada. The role oversees long-term care, assisted living, dementia care, and related services, driving quality care and safety across sites.

Reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, you will empower teams, promote a safety culture, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to advance organizational goals and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in nursing (BScN).
• Gerontology or healthcare administrator certificate preferred.
• Current CPR certification.
• Active registration with CRNA or BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Minimum 3 years of proven management experience in a health care environment.
• Minimum 5 years of health-related experience, preferably in seniors’ care.
• Experience managing people within a unionized environment.
• Experience managing a budget.

Responsibilities

• Provides updates to the Director, Clinical Services regarding objectives and goals for operational planning.
• Leads a multi-disciplinary team to deliver care and services aligned with resident needs and safety standards.
• Oversees long-term care, assisted living, and related programs across care homes.
• Engages with residents, families, and staff to ensure quality care and member satisfaction.
• Ensures compliance with accreditation, regulatory standards, and quality improvement initiatives.
