Job summary

Peter Lucas Project Management is hiring experienced Project Managers to support major industrial projects in British Columbia and Northern Ontario. The role involves managing scope, schedule, budget, risk, and quality while coordinating diverse stakeholders in an active site environment.

Projects are site-based with a 3 weeks on / 3 weeks off rotation. Camp accommodations and travel are provided. A Bachelor’s degree is required; professional designations (P.Eng., PMP) are assets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive project management in mining, construction, heavy industrial, or related environments.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced site environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects through engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and deliverables.
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and project teams.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, vendors, construction personnel, and site stakeholders.
• Review drawings, specifications, scopes of work, and contractor deliverables.
• Monitor progress, costs, schedules, quality, productivity, and performance.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate procurement activities, materials, equipment, and resources.
• Support commissioning, turnover, and project closeout.
