Site Attendant Overview
The Sunshine Coast Regional District (SCRD) is inviting applications for the position of Site Attendant to monitor waste delivery at landfill sites by waste haulers and the public. The role will also act as a relief Scale Attendant as needed to ensure safe and efficient landfill operations. For more details, see the job description at www.scrd.ca/careers.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, including 6% vacation pay, an additional 5% in lieu of statutory holiday pay after 30 days, and up to 5 paid sick days after 90 days. Casual employees can join the General Casual List for other opportunities within SCRD. All employees have access to the Employee and Family Assistance Program (EFAP) for free, confidential counselling. The position pays $31.83 per hour.
Please note: Casual work involves short notice relief shifts, 7 days a week, with no guaranteed hours or regular schedule, covering sick leave, vacations, or peak periods.
