Description
The Department of Advanced Technical Skills Simulation Laboratory in the Cumming School of Medicine invites applications for a Simulation Technician and Data Specialist. This full-time fixed-term position is for approximately 24 months (based on grant funding) with the possibility of extension.
The ATSSL Simulation Technician and Data Specialist reports to the ATSSL Manager. While working independently most of the time, they will receive guidance from ATSSL Coordinators and Simulation Consultants regarding processes and workflows.
The ATSSL offers a range of simulation modalities, including human and animal cadaveric tissue and theater-based simulations. Supported by the Cumming School of Medicine at the University of Calgary, it delivers simulation-based medical education to a diverse group of learners, from students to healthcare professionals. The facility supports sessions for both small and large groups.
