Fleetwood Metal Industries, a division of Cleveland Cliffs Tooling and Stamping has an immediate opportunity for a Simulation Engineerin our Tillsonburg, Ontario, stamping facility. The Simulation Engineeris responsible for is responsible for creating and maintaining CAD Data. The ideal candidate will have prior Simulationexperience, be self-motivated and thrive in a fast-paced work environment. Summary of Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain all CAD Data relative to a program as specified by the project engineer and/or customer
• Creates and maintains simulation and die processes, both 2D and 3D, based on internal and external customer requirements
• Develops basic to advanced level process proposals based on direction from product design engineering and/or engineering analysis
• Recommends alternative design scenarios to meet or exceed customer requirements
• Create and modify 3D surfaces
• Interfaces with Project Engineering, Manufacturing Division and Customer to meet requirements for assigned project
• Interfaces with manufacturing Division to ensure that all formability requirements are met
• All other reasonable duties and responsibilities assigned as deemed necessary by Supervisor

Minimum Qualifcations:

• At least 5 years working experience in a Simulation Engineer role.
• At least 5 years in automotive and or tooling environment
• Must be affluent in NX 3d Surfacing.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field
