Under the direction of the trauma program manager, the Simulation Assistant supports all aspects of simulated and experiential learning with the trauma program required. In collaboration with the Clinical Practice leader, ATLS coordinators, and physicians works to create a respectful and interprofessional environment.
The Simulation Assistant prepares the physical simulation spaces, equipment and supplies to support the effective and efficient running of the simulation education sessions. The Simulation Assistant is involved with operations of the simulation space including organizing, communicating with participants and troubleshooting. The Simulation Assistant exhibits the knowledge, attitudes and behaviours that align with the Trauma program mission and values.
