Silviculture Planner

Located in Nackawic, New Brunswick, our prehydrolysis kraft pulp mill finds itself in a picturesque area of the Saint John River Valley, a short drive between Fredericton and Woodstock. AV Group is currently recruiting for a Silviculture Planner – Woodlands Division – Based out of our Nackawic, Fredericton or Atholville, NB locations.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Chief Forester, the Silviculture Planner provides technical support and leadership to ensure the silviculture program is conducted in compliance with all applicable standards, ensures the forestry operations comply with the management plan, and that all associated field work is completed in a timely fashion. The ideal candidate requires well-established organizational skills, a high level of motivation and energy, excellent communication skills and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment.
