Job summary

Twilight Signs & Neon in Bolton, Ontario is seeking a dedicated Sign Assembler to join our fabrications team. You will work with hand tools to assemble, shape and finish signs, read shop drawings, and contribute to production efficiency.

This role offers a practical, hands-on environment with benefits including health, Employee and Family Assistance program, RRSP matching, and quarterly company events. Forklift certification is an asset and applicants should read, write and speak English.

Qualifications

• Reads and interprets shop drawings.
• Fluent in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Ability to work with hand tools.
• Experience in sign manufacturing is an asset, not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of custom metal fabrications and welds.
• Shape letter walls for channel letters.
• Perform various assembly tasks for multiple sign types.
• Record and present ideas to improve production efficiency.
• Prepare paint items as necessary.
• Shape, cut and sand letters when required.
• Plan daily work to prioritize jobs per Production Manager.
• Log time in ERP system and report safety concerns.

You must have the ability to work with hand tools and be willing to learn different areas in the shop.The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more:· Assist in the preparation of custom metal fabrications and welds.· Shape letter walls for channel letters.· Various assembly requirements for multiple sign types.· Record and Present ideas to improve production efficiency to Production Supervisor.· Prepare paint items, as necessary.· Shape, cut and sand letters when required.· Planning time before starting day/project to ensure jobs are prioritized based on production Manager’s requirements.· Logging time in company ERP system daily· Report unsafe working conditions when identified.· Follow Twilight Signs & Neon’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and the safety requirements of the Ministry of Labor.
