Join our dynamic, diverse team at Four Seasons Resort & Residences Whistler as the Full Time, Seasonal Sidecut Server Assistant.
The Sidecut Steakhouse Server Assistant is responsible for anticipating and servicing the guests’ requirements before the guest requests. They will serve and clear all food & beverage items, complete opening and closing side-work as assigned, and have all tables set according to standards. Sidecut Steakhouse is a casual up-scale dining experience. Our guests enjoy the depth of wine and food knowledge our team has, along with their exceptional service and general enjoyment of the work environment.
Hourly Wage: $19.50 - $21.50
What you will do:
Ensure a seamless dining experience for guests during dinner service.
Support the Server by delivering food and beverages, refilling drinks, clearing tables, and resetting.
Serve and clear all food & beverage items.
Complete opening and closing side-work as assigned.
Set all tables according to standards.
Have a thorough understanding of the menu and describe food items to guests , as well as be able to answer any guest questions about the menu.
Break down displays or side stations.
Monitor overall restaurant cleanliness.
Ensure a seamless guest experience.
What you bring:
At least 2 years’ experience in food and beverage, in a restaurant or a hotel , preference is given to candidates with fine-dining experience.
Solid knowledge of food and beverage products , including wine.
Strong command of the English languag e .
Excellent commitment to service and teamwork .
Must be able to obtain a Serving I t Right certificate .
Valid work authorization for Canada.
