THE ROLE :

We are seeking an engineer who has successfully deployed automation, flow improvement, and software to support Signal and Power Integrity and PKG / PCB Designs.

THE PERSON :

You have strong programming skill in at least two languages. You communicate well and be able to gauge the existing pain points and enhance them with automation / flow / tool.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Design, develop, support, and enhance CADflows related to signal and power integrity using state-of-the-art in-house analysis tools and commercial modeling and simulation tools.
• As part of the signal and power integrity team, identify and scope opportunities for flow enhancements for throughput efficiency.
• Write custom tools and scripts to integrate point tools into a highly optimized work flow.
• Work with internal and external tool developers to implement enhancements to support a highly efficient work flow.
• Develop domain expertise to effectively communicate with the signal and power integrity team.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE :

• Ability to solve problems on CADand design methodology issues.
• High level of expertise in Cadence SKILL and Python.
• High level of expertise in multiple programming languages and the ability to develop similar expertise in needed unfamiliar languages.
• Familiarity with Load Sharing Facility (LSF) or other similar batch compute environments.
• Ability to clearly and precisely communicate with colleagues on requirements and specs.
• Ability to document and publish user documents and training materials.
• Ability to work effectively in a production environment and deliver working solutions.
• Experience in the following areas will be a plus :
• Scripting in HFSS, SIwave, HSpice, and Matlab
• Scripting in Cadence Skill for Allegro or APD / SiP
• Familiarity with extractions and simulations for high-performance CPU / GPU packages and systems.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS :

• Bachelors orMastersdegree in computer engineering / Electrical Engineering
