Job summary

St. Albert Dodge is hiring a Shuttle Driver / Shop Help to safely transport customers to and from their homes or places of business while their vehicles are serviced, and to assist with general shop duties.

The successful candidate will have a clean driving record, present a professional appearance, deliver excellent customer service, and be team oriented. Shift is Monday–Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, with compensation of $17 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License with clean driver’s abstract.
• First Aid considered an asset.
• Professional appearance.
• Team oriented and focused on customer service.
• Willing to submit a background check.

Responsibilities

• Drives customers to their homes or places of business and picks them up after their vehicle is serviced.
• Maintains accurate route sheet.
• Assists passengers getting in and out of vehicles if required.
• Operates company cell phone to communicate with dealership or other vehicles to report disruption of service.
• Notifies dispatcher or service manager of any servicing the shuttle vehicle may require, such as oil changes, tires, cleaning, and general maintenance.
• Keeps record of trips including names of passengers, and destination or pick-up points.
• General cleaning of the service department, shop, and other areas of the dealership.
• Maintain a clean shuttle vehicle, fuel it up as required.
• Deliver & pickup parts, vehicles, or other items as required.
• Clean & prepare company rental vehicles.
• Assist the Service Department with general duties as needed.
• Help keep customer lounge organized and presentable.
• Must follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Other duties as required
