Primary Purpose

This position, under the supervision of the Operations Manager and Depot Supervisor, is responsible for:

• Ensuring the timely transportation of environmental samples from North York to Kingston
• Supporting the collection and delivery of environmental samples within the GTA area
• Assisting with depot operations such as receiving samples, logging, fielding client calls, and taking deliveries
• Collaborating with the depot supervisor and GTA driver to transport samples between North York and Kingston
• Working a 6-hour shift, departing North York at 19:00 and returning around 01:00
• Closing the depot and checking sample locker submissions

Requirements

• Valid, clean Ontario driver’s license
• Proficiency with IT and PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to lift 40lb coolers
• Good communication skills, effective and efficient work ethic
• Knowledge of environmental samples is an asset
