Job summary

Leon’s Furniture Limited is seeking a Full-Time Showroom Helper to assist in creating functional and appealing product displays throughout the showroom. You will work under the Decorator and Merchandise Manager to set up displays, wrap/unwrap products, and maintain price tags.

The role requires heavy lifting, ability to move items, and a positive attitude. benefits begin after 3 months with profit sharing and discounts.

Qualifications

• Experience handling and displaying merchandise.
• Ability to move and place products.
• Ability to interpret and apply directions from Decorator and Merchandise Manager.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and delivery trucks.
• Complete inspections with the Service department and customers.
• Manage and maintain price tags.
• Complete daily inventory and Accessory Inventory semi-annually.
• Unwrap and re-wrap products for delivery or pickup.
• Assist the decorator in moving merchandise from warehouse to showroom.
• Research product information, prices and specs using a computer.
• Assemble and set up merchandise.
• Construct and deconstruct displays for promotions.
• Decorate and tag products for promotions.
• Maintain showroom presentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Leon’s is currently looking for aFull-Time Showroom Helper to assist the Merchandise Manager and Decorator in creating functional and appealing product displays that showcase our line of merchandise, and ensure the layout is well suited to our customers’ needs. Follow the direction of the Decorator and Merchandise Manager in setting up product displays throughout the showroom.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload trailers and delivery trucks
• Complete inspections with the Service department and customers
• Manage and maintain price tags
• Complete daily inventory and Accessory Inventory semi-annually
• Unwrap and re-wrap products as required, for delivery or pickup
• Assist the decorator by moving new merchandise from the warehouse to the showroom, moving damaged merchandise to clearance, etc.
• Computer work – use operating system to research product information, prices and specs
• Assembling and setting up merchandise
• Helping to construct and deconstruct displays for promotions
• Decorating and tagging products for promotions
• Upkeeping product display and the overall presentation of the showroom
• Performing various other duties, as assigned

Requirements:

Compensation:

The starting hourly rate for this position is $18.05.
