About the Role:

We are seeking a proactive and highly organized Showroom Coordinator to be the first point of contact for our trade clients while ensuring seamless day-to-day showroom operations. This role is perfect for a go-getter with exceptional customer service skills, strong multi-tasking abilities, and the ability to perform under pressure. You will play a key role in maintaining a welcoming and well-organized showroom environment while supporting the sales team.

Responsibilities:

Reception + Client Services

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting and assisting trade clients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
  • Manage showroom appointments, coordinating schedules for sales and design teams.
  • Respond to general inquiries via phone and email, providing prompt and accurate information.
  • Ensure a seamless showroom experience by anticipating client needs and assisting with product selection.

Showroom Operations + Sample Management

  • Organize and maintain fabric and rug samples, ensuring they are up to date and well-presented.
  • Track and manage sample inventory, coordinating with vendors for restocking.
  • Ensure all showroom products are accurately priced and updated as needed.
  • Maintain overall showroom cleanliness and organization, creating a welcoming environment.
  • Manage showroom floor models (identify discontinued items and organize replacements)

Administrative + Sales Support

  • Assist in processing client requests, quotes, orders, and follow-ups in collaboration with the sales team.
  • Provide client's with order updates via ETA tracking system
  • Keep detailed records of client interactions and showroom activity.
  • Support showroom events and presentations for trade professionals as needed.

Event Planning + Coordination

  • Coordinate showroom events, including trade presentations and networking gatherings.
  • Manage event logistics, such as coordinating catering, setting up the showroom, and handling pre-event and event-day responsibilities.
  • Oversee the RSVP list, ensuring timely confirmations and communication with attendees.
  • Work with internal teams and vendors to ensure a seamless event experience.

Your Skillset:

  • 1-3 years of experience in a showroom, retail, or customer service role (preferably in the design industry).
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to anticipate client needs.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace is a plus.
  • Passion for interior design and the furniture industry is a bonus.

Compensation:

  • $48,000 - $52,000 + quarterly bonus based on experience
  • Company RSP matching contributions after 3 months of employment
