About The Position

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Host is part of a team responsible for the day-to-day operations of the show home sales center. Often as the first-person visitors will encounter, the Showhome Host represents the face of the organization, and the first impression customers will form during their visit.

  • Greet customers and show home visitors, set-up appointments, answer questions and provide general information about the company and the homes for sale.
  • Assist the sales team with completion of various tasks, such as conducting house checks
  • Ensure products from the sales center, show homes, and predesigned inventory are presented professionally and marketed according to company standards.
  • Create an engaged and welcoming experience for show home visitors and customers alike.
  • Converse and connect with customers to ensure they remain on site if a Sales Associate or an Area Sales Manager is unavailable.
  • Assist with registering clients, showcasing the features of the show homes, and bridge a connection to the Sales Associate or Area Sales Manager.
  • Discuss community features, amenities and services which provide value and interest to prospective customers.
  • Answer phone calls to the show home promptly and maintain a professional demeanor in all conversations.
  • Support customers through the sales process.
  • Ensure professional presentation and uphold the company’s reputation within the community.
  • Provide a supportive and inclusive environment which welcomes and accommodates all customers and visitors across various cultures, communities, abilities, and groups.
  • Perform related administrative duties as assigned.
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Highschool or GED certificate required.
  • Two (2) or more years of customer service experience in a professional environment required.
  • Intermediate knowledge of best practices in sales and customer service is required.
  • Previous experience in a role demanding greater customer satisfaction and sales target achievement preferred.
  • Intermediate computer competencies, specifically with Microsoft Office, is preferred.
  • A valid class five (5) driver’s license and personal reliable transportation is required.
