Show Home Host
Reports to: Area Sales Manager & President
Role Overview
As the face of Renova’s Show Homes and Sales Centres, the Show Home Host creates memorable, on-brand experiences for every visitor. You’ll be responsible for a variety of sales and administrative tasks including building rapport and collecting information for qualifying leads, supporting the sales team, and helping to keep our operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
·Warmly welcome all visitors while operating the sales center.
·Build rapport by asking insightful questions, actively listening to needs, and offering tailored recommendations.
·Collect and manage prospect contact details, ensuring accuracy in Renova’s marketing database.
·Answer questions about the company, the product and services, the showhomes and other inquiries that customers may have.
·Qualify leads in CRM, schedule follow-up appointments, and maintain consistent sales touchpoints from first visit through contract signing.
·Collaborate with Sales Consultants to draft and finalize sales contracts; act as a point of contact throughout the buying journey.
·Attend customer possession walkthroughs upon completion and address any questions or minor concerns on site, when required.
2. Administration & Reporting
·Open, close, and maintain Show Homes and Sales Centres according to scheduled hours and brand standards.
·Perform general office duties: filing, printing, supply ordering, coordinating minor repairs, and ensuring all literature is up to date and well-stocked.
·Record daily foot traffic, track key metrics (e.g., lead conversion rate, average tour length), and deliver weekly reports to management.
·Monitor and restock promotional materials, product samples, and feature boards.
3. Product & Process Expertise
·Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Renova’s floor plans, construction specifications, finish options, and change-order processes.
·Stay current on community features, pricing, incentives, and competitive landscape to answer questions confidently.
·Partner with Marketing on special events (e.g., model-home launches, open houses, community festivals).
4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
·Liaise with Construction, Design, and Customer Care teams to stay informed of build timelines, feature updates, and warranty procedures.
·Share customer feedback and market insights in regular team huddles to drive continuous improvement.
·Customer-Centric: Naturally warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping others.
·Proactive Initiative: Anticipates visitor needs and takes action without waiting for direction.
·Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal and written skills; clear, professional, and concise.
·Detail-Oriented and Organized: Meticulous about organization, follow-up tasks, and presentation standards.
·Adaptable & Resilient: Comfortable juggling multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
·Critical Thinker: Able to troubleshoot on the spot and identify creative solutions.
·Tech-Savvy: Proficient with CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, tablets, and basic audio-visual equipment.
Qualifications & Experience
·Minimum 1–2 years in customer-facing sales or hospitality roles (server/bartender, real estate, home shows, retail, etc.).
·Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM platforms.
·Bonus: Post-secondary education in Business, Marketing.
·Bonus: familiarity with home-building terminology, design software (e.g., SketchUp), or basic construction documents.
