Job description

A major oil and gas company is seeking a full-time Administrative Professional for a short-term assignment at their Grande Prairie office. This role runs Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills and oil and gas industry experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain positive working relationships with both field and office personnel

  • Prioritize and manage multiple administrative tasks efficiently

  • Perform general administrative duties with accuracy and attention to detail

  • Monitor systems including GeoTab and Blackline

  • Assist with Open Invoice processes

  • Provide support to Accounts Payable as needed

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2+ years of administrative experience in the oil and gas industry

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Post-secondary education in Accounting or Business Administration is preferred

  • Comfortable interacting with the public, internal staff, and stakeholders

  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and accurate

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
