Job description

We’re looking for a highly organized Shopify Data Specialist to oversee the accuracy, consistency, and proper data entry across our company’s systems, with a strong focus on our Shopify platform. This role is essential in maintaining the integrity of our operational infrastructure and supporting a seamless customer experience. While primarily a back-office role, the ideal candidate will also assist with client communications regarding data corrections and take on Executive Assistant (EA) responsibilities during downtime.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and validate incoming data for completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
• Upload, sync, and manage data across Shopify and other internal systems/platforms.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in customer, order, or product data.
• Interface with customers professionally when clarification or corrections are needed.
• Provide light Executive Assistant support, such as calendar coordination or internal communications, as required.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold data integrity at all times.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data workflows and processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in data entry, data management, or administrative roles — especially within Shopify or e-commerce platforms.
• Advanced mastery of Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data validation, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and conditional formatting.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Comfort working across multiple software platforms and systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and multitask in a dynamic environment.
• Prior customer service experience is a plus.
