Description

Toromont Cat is seeking a Shop Technician, Heavy Equipment to join our team! The successful candidate will service Caterpillar equipment and components in our shop, including planning, troubleshooting, repairing, and preparing service reports. We value candidates interested in a diverse product range. Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic team player who prioritizes safety and customer satisfaction.

Schedules Available:

Shift premiums apply for Evenings and Weekends.

• Days: 4x10hrs
• Evenings: 4x10hrs

As a Shop Technician, you will:

• Work in a safe environment, adhering to health and safety policies
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using Caterpillar testing equipment
• Repair and service Caterpillar and heavy equipment to standards
• Prepare accurate service reports promptly
• Maintain excellent communication with customers
• Support customer needs through various assignments

Must-have qualifications:

• Post-secondary education related to heavy equipment mechanics
• At least 3 years of experience as a Technician
• Experience with heavy construction or mining equipment
• Relevant licenses (e.g., 421A or 310T) are a strong asset
