We are partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the oil & gas field, that has been in business for 80+ years. We are currently looking for a motivated and team-oriented individual to join our client’soperations team in Clairmont, AB.

The Shop Technician will be responsible for managing and overseeing material handling, inventory, and potentially sandblasting. This role requires a blend of expertise in handling machinery within a shop and having the physical endurance for heavy lifting.

Benefits & Perks:

  • $21.5/hr to start and raising upto $24/hr
  • Temporary -> Permanent
  • Extended Benefits once in a permanent position

Responsibilities:

  • Disassemble customer equipment
  • Prepare equipment for sandblasting
  • Sandblast
  • Perform pressure testing
  • Repair equipment
  • Fill out paperwork (Progress Reports, Timesheets, Records, etc.)
  • Reassemble equipment
  • Paint
  • Operate a forklift
  • Clean and maintain the shop
  • Participate in the maintenance and safety program
  • Work overtime as required
  • Other duties may be assigned
