Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pro Shop Manager to oversee daily operations of the golf course. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for customer service, experience in a golf environment, and a solid understanding of retail management practices. Responsibilities include ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining high customer satisfaction standards, leading a team to meet sales goals, and working flexible hours including evenings and weekends during peak season.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily Pro shop operations for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Coordinate golf events, tournaments, and leagues, ensuring successful execution and communication with partners.
  • Manage inventory levels and coordinate restocking efforts.
  • Oversee cashiering activities, including transactions using the POS system (Lightspeed).
  • Train, mentor, and supervise staff to foster a positive work environment.
  • Communicate clearly with team members regarding tasks and expectations.
  • Implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, employee records, and sales reporting.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in golf retail management, golf operations, or supervisory roles preferred.
  • Proficiency with POS systems and cashiering processes.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Leadership and motivational skills to manage a team effectively.

Employment Details
