Job summary

Viacore Terrebonne is seeking a Full Time Shop Helper to support the Shipper/Receiver and cross-train for vacation coverage; a valid Driver’s License is required. This is an immediate vacancy with competitive pay and ongoing opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Fill work orders and cut belting to size.
• Cut various types of belting and related materials.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization.
• Help manage inventory levels of stocked products.
• Deliver completed work orders for inspection.
• Secure vehicles, warehouse, and yard daily.
• Assure proper disposal and cleanup after shifts.
• Keep management informed on low stock needing purchases.
• Collaborate with shipper/receiver for vacation coverage.

Job Summary

Viacore Terrebonne is looking for a Full Time, hardworking, self‑motivated Shop Helper. They will work closely with our Shipper and Receiver so that they can cross‑train and assist with vacation replacement, so a valid Driver’s License will also be required. This is an immediate vacancy.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent  Reporting to: Operations Manager

Pay: $20.00‑$27.00 per hour

Job duties

• Filling work orders (ie. slitting of conveyor belting for jobs, slitting of conveyor belting for stock, slitting of rubber stock)
• Cutting various types of belting and related materials
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and organization
• Help maintain inventory levels on all stocked products in the warehouse
• Deliver all completed shop work orders to Service Manager for inspection
• Ensure vehicles, warehouse and yard are secured at end of each day
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
• Report and store lost and found items
• Keep management informed on low stock that requires purchasing
• Work closely with Shipper/receiver to serve as vacation replacement and support
• Other warehouse duties as required.

Qualifications Required

• Must be able to work with minimal direction
• Forklift Certification
• Excellent communication, problem solving, organizing and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure
• A valid G License and reliable transportation
• Willingness and ability to work overtime and/or irregular hours
• Previous warehouse experience
