Job summary

Clintar Commercial Outdoor Services in Gloucester, Ontario is seeking a Shop Hand to support daily shop and yard operations. Reporting to the Shop Manager, you will assist with equipment maintenance, cleaning, organization, and general shop duties.

About the Role

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Shop Hand will support the day-to-day operations of the shop and yard by assisting with equipment maintenance, cleaning, organization, and general shop duties. This is a hands-on role that helps keep our equipment, vehicles, and shop running safely and efficiently.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with basic equipment and vehicle maintenance and repairs.
• Keep the shop, yard, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
• Complete equipment checks and report any issues or damage.
• Assist mechanics and shop staff with repairs, servicing, and seasonal equipment preparation.
• Help with loading, unloading, moving, and organizing materials and equipment.
  
• Follow all company health and safety procedures.
  
• Support the team with other general shop and yard duties as needed.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Previous shop, mechanical, landscaping, or equipment experience is an asset.
• Education: High school diploma (or equivalent) and valid licenses as needed.
• Skills & Attitude: Reliable, hardworking, safety-focused, and adaptable. Comfortable working with tools, equipment, and machinery.Mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
