Job Description

We are currently looking for a Shop Hand to join our Rocky View, AB Vertex Team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Accurate inventory of tool trailers
• Inspection of tools prior to field mobilization and once tools have been returned
• Place orders for supplies needed for projects
• Prep-stock resupply
• Chemical loading
• Forklift operating
• Responsible for ensuring trailers are properly and safely hooked up to each truck
• Prep vehicle binders for mobilization
• Supply runs
• Assist Shop Manager as required
  
  

Candidate Qualifications

• Previous experience with industrial cleaning or oil and gas operations preferred
• Strong planning and organizing capabilities
• Able to lift and carry up to 45 Kg
• Extensive knowledge of:
• Ergonomics
• Personal protective equipment requirements
• Working basic hand and power tools
• Occupational health and safety regulations, safety programs (company and client)
• Class 5 Drivers License is required
• Clean Commercial Drivers Abstract
• Ability to perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity
• Must be in good health and physical condition to perform duties assigned
• Successful candidates will demonstrate integrity and reliability
