Lounsbury Chevrolet in Moncton is currently seeking Shop Foreman/woman for our busy collision centre (bodyshop). We are looking for someone who is highly organized and has a passion for vehicles.

The hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 5pm (no Saturdays!)

Responsibilities

  • Job Dispatching & Workflow Management
    • Assign repair jobs to technicians based on priority and availability.
    • Ensure technicians have the next job ready with all necessary parts and documentation.
    • Monitor and adjust workflow to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines.
  • Quality Control & Inspection
    • Review all estimates and repair plans before work begins.
    • Inspect body repairs before moving to the prep stage.
    • Inspect prepped vehicles and mark them ready for paint using the designated system
  • Conduct daily 2-minute pitch meetings to outline priorities and goals.
  • Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work environment.
  • Provide coaching and support to technicians as needed.
  • Facility & Equipment Management
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and workspaces.
    • Oversee care and maintenance of tools and equipment.
    • Supervise purchasing of supplies and ensure proper inventory control.
  • Customer Service & Quality Assurance
    • Ensure high-quality repairs and minimize rework.
    • Address customer concerns promptly and professionally.
    • Collaborate with estimators to ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • Must have high school diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in an automotive body shop environment, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of collision repair processes and quality standards
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Must have a valid Driver's Licence and a clean Driver's Abstract
  • Highly reliable and like to work as part of a team
