Job summary

Pros Mechanics in Montreal, QC, seeks an Experienced Shop Foreman to oversee our repair facility and lead a team of shop and field forklift technicians.

The ideal candidate will have experience repairing industrial lift trucks and at least one year of supervisory experience within the material handling equipment repair industry, with strong management and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years mechanic experience and at least 1 year supervisory/lead experience in forklift industry.
• Strong supervisory, organizational and computer skills.
• Valid G Class driver’s license with a driver’s abstract.

Responsibilities

• Delegate workload within the service department.
• Provide assistance and technical support to shop and field technicians.
• Liaison with other department managers to discuss operational needs.
• Conduct daily safety meetings.
• Train, mentor and supervise all new and existing Shop employees.
• Promote positive and professional relationships with all company personnel.
• Oversee repairs to ensure quality and accuracy, and assist with vehicle repairs.

Job description

Our client is looking to hiring an Experienced Shop Foreman to oversee their repair facility in Montreal, QB. This Foreman will be responsible for a team of shop and field Forklift technicians. The ideal candidate will have previous experience repairing Industrial lift trucks with previous supervisory/management experience within the material handling equipment repair industry. Supervisors with dealership or fleet experience will be considered.

Requirements

Compensation: THIS IS AN HOURLY PAID POSITION NOT FLATE RATE!

• $62,000 - $93,000/Yr. depending on experience and qualifications.
