Your Role and Responsibilities :

  • Coordinate and manage daily and weekly production schedules to meet company targets.
  • Provide daily supervision and leadership, including morning huddles to align the team with daily goals and expectations, distribute tasks, and address any issues or updates.
  • Guide employees on work requirements, performance, procedures, and practices.
  • Train and support the team to improve quality and efficiency.
  • Maintain and manage the training matrix, ensuring all training requirements are up-to-date and effectively implemented.
  • Proactively identify and escalate production issues to the Plant Manager for timely resolution.
  • Foster a motivated manufacturing environment by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback.
  • Ensure a safe workspace by educating staff on the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and machinery.
  • Promote a lean manufacturing culture using methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban.
  • Engage employees in setting and achieving goals through personal development and training plans.

What you need to be successful in the role :

  • Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively lead and motivate a team.
  • Excellent planning skills to be able to create and execute daily planning schedules.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and resolve issues.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Post-secondary education is considered an asset.

Salary Range

  • 80,000-$90,000+ per year, based on experience.

Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday
  • 8-hour shift with 6 AM start time
