This is a request for hire for an additional position for 4138 as a shop/service coordinator.

Reporting to the Shop Manager, the Service Coordinator will play an integral role in driving continuous improvements by providing leadership in service coordination and quality processes. The Coordinator will become a subject matter expert in service and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, and lubrication components, supporting overall quality and reliability efforts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to facilitate shop work flow in the repair shop.
  • Coordinate reporting efforts, failure analysis, standards, drawings, and other technical requirements for hydraulic repairs with the Foreman, technicians, and the Technical Services department.
  • Work directly with Technical Sales Representatives to support customer requests.
  • Evaluate quote requests including BOMs, specifications, drawings, delivery needs, test plans, and general requirements.
  • Develop and submit proposals for quotations, test plans, and deliveries, adhering to corporate standards and quality procedures.
  • Continuously improve the existing quality program and implement the company quality control manual. Develop product-specific quality plans and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for shop repairs.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and manufacturers.
  • Assess product improvement recommendations and initiate internal changes as needed.
  • Develop expertise in shop processes to support peers and drive continuous improvement.
  • Generate work instructions for shop processes to support customer needs and repair requirements.

Preference will be given to individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Experience in an industrial or hydraulic service environment.
  • Service-oriented with exposure to quality assurance and quality control.
  • Proficient with computers, including Microsoft Office and ERP software (SAP preferred).
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and complete work within deadlines.
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for technical information.
