The position:

As a Shop Assistant at Trail Appliances, you will play a key role in supporting our installation teams and ensuring smooth shop operations. Reporting to the Installation Services Manager, you will help maintain a clean and organized shop floor, manage inventory, process returns, and coordinate with suppliers. Your contributions will support our commitment to providing exceptional customer service, expert advice, and competitive pricing.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment
  • Conduct inventory checks, track pricing, and order stock as needed
  • Process returns and coordinate with suppliers for replacements or refunds
  • Support installation teams by delivering parts, assisting with installs, and performing routine maintenance
  • Assist with fleet maintenance by coordinating vehicle service and repairs


What you need to be successful:

  • Previous experience in a shop or similar environment is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Mechanical aptitude to assist with installations and perform routine maintenance
  • Ability to lift moderately heavy objects and work on your feet for extended periods
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license and flexibility to work Saturdays as needed.


Availability:

This is a full-time positi;on and will require you to be available:

Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm

Compensation:

$18/hr to $20/hr
