Job summary

North Star Windows & Doors is hiring for a Shipping and Receiving role in Canada. You will unload/load products, identify and move stock, and prepare deliveries with accurate paperwork.

Maintain safety, perform cycle counts, and keep the area clean while communicating with customers. Ideal candidates have warehouse experience, can lift repetitively, work in varying weather, and handle tools like pallet jacks and forklifts.

Qualifications

• 2 years warehouse experience strongly preferred.
• Repetitive heavy lifting required.
• Able to work under variable weather conditions.
• Extensive standing, frequent bending, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, twisting, and walking.
• Use of small hand tools, pallet jack, forklift, etc.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load product into warehouse in a safe and efficient manner.
• Identify, count, sort, pick, package, unpackage, stock and move product in warehouse.
• Load product for customer deliveries in a safe, efficient and timely manner.
• Complete and maintain required customer delivery paperwork.
• Comply with all material handing company policies and procedures.
• Contribute to a safe, orderly and efficiently operating warehouse.
• Perform inventory cycle counts as required.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customer regarding product deliveries.
• Perform general housekeeping duties including maintaining a clean work area.
