Job summary

Multimatic-In in Newmarket, Ontario is seeking a Warehouse/Shipping Clerk with a minimum of three years shipping and receiving experience in the automotive industry. The role requires a valid tow motor license and strong computer skills including Excel, MS Office, MRP, and SAP.

Qualifications

• Completion of a high school diploma.
• Three years shipping and receiving experience in the automotive industry.
• Possess a valid tow motor license.
• Proficient computer skills (i.e. Excel, MS Office, MRP, SAP).
• Self-motivated and able to work under limited supervision.
• Comprehensive understanding of lot traceability.
• Must have material handling experience.
• Pick and pack orders.

Responsibilities

• Perform all tasks on time as determined by the logistics supervisor.
• Report health and safety concerns.
• Pick, pack, label and ship orders according to routing standards.
• Maintain FIFO stock locations at all times.
• Stage shipments for the next truck or day.
• Move material to create empty locations in shipping.
• Write DMN reports for defective parts and returns.
• Follow the internal lot trace system and scan lot numbers.
• Label and ship items, print schedules and picklists.
• Load and unload trucks and secure packages.
